Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (for SLPs) or Associate's/Bachelor's degree with SLPA coursework (for SLPAs)
• Valid and current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Virginia
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred (for SLPs)
• Experience in school-based settings is highly valued
• Strong interpersonal skills and comfort collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
• Commitment to supporting diverse student populations and individual learning needs

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students with a wide range of needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans, set measurable goals, and deliver direct therapy services
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Consult with classroom teachers and educational staff to implement strategies within the learning environment
• Participate in IEP meetings, share expertise, and advocate for student success
• Support family education and facilitate generalization of skills across settings
• Maintain compliance with all regulations and ethical standards
