Step into a crucial role supporting students with significant social and emotional needs by providing expertise at a middle school in Frederick County. This contract opportunity is ideal for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who is passionate about making a real difference, working within the renowned Pyramid Program—a small, structured setting dedicated to advancing positive outcomes for learners requiring intensive therapeutic and special education services.

This position is full-time, running through the end of the school year. There's flexibility to begin as soon as possible to facilitate a smooth transition; you can shadow the current BCBA before officially taking over in December. The schedule is 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM, averaging 40 hours each week, with the possibility of occasional after-school meetings.

Key Qualifications:

• Active BCBA certification and licensure required
• Strong experience supporting students with social/emotional needs in specialized or therapeutic school settings
• Exceptional collaborative skills for partnering with multidisciplinary teams
• Compassion, flexibility, and genuine commitment to student growth and success
• Excellent documentation and data analysis abilities

Essential Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement behavioral intervention plans aligned with student IEP goals
• Collect and analyze data on student progress
• Provide coaching and support to staff in positive behavior strategies
• Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with staff and families
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive environment for all students
