The Assistant will oversee the care of guest and fleet boats, including cleaning, waxing, and maintenance, as well as assisting with launching, mooring, and trailer operations. The role involves both indoor and outdoor work in seasonal weather and requires strict adherence to safety policies. Responsibilities: Oversee basic maintenance for guest boats, the marina fleet, and related gear, including cleaning, waxing, fiberglass and vinyl refurbishing. Assist teammates with boat care, launch operations, trailering, blocking, and equipment handling under supervision. Assist with decommission and recommission of service boats and fleet vessels. Maintain organization of boat storage and cleanliness. Strictly follow all safety policies and procedures. Adhere to policies, procedures, and strategies as directed. Report missing inventory or material shortages. Complete assigned tasks with attention to expectations and follow‑through. Submit work records, notes, and changes to technicians and managers. Maintain work area, tools, and equipment in good repair. Use and maintain company vehicles and equipment to the highest standard. NJ Boating certificate and boating experience preferred but not required. Good health and physical mobility. Ability to pass a pre‑employment background/drug screen. Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. Work schedule: Tuesday‑Saturday 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., year‑round. Compensation & Benefits: Base pay ranges from $16 to $20 per hour, with overtime and incentives available.
