After-School Program FacilitatorLocation: Lancaster, PA Position Type: Part-Time (10–15 hours/week) Pay Range: $15–$18/hourHelp Kids Build Confidence Through Hands-On LearningAre you energetic, reliable, and passionate about working with kids? Snapology of Lancaster is looking for a Part-Time Program Instructor to lead engaging, hands-on programs that inspire children to build, create, collaborate, and solve problems.This is a great opportunity for college students, education majors, substitute teachers, paraprofessionals, homeschool parents, retirees, or anyone looking for meaningful part-time work with a consistent weekly schedule.If you enjoy making a positive impact while having fun, we'd love to meet you!ScheduleApproximately 10–15 hours per week over four afternoons/evenings. Typical working hours fall between 2:30 PM and 8:30 PM, with most shifts occurring between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM.A consistent weekly schedule will be established, with minor adjustments possible based on program enrollment, seasonal programming, and special events. Enjoy a consistent weekly schedule with opportunities to earn additional hours through field trips, birthday parties, camps, Saturday programs, and special events.What You'll DoLead Engaging Programs: Teach fun, hands-on STEM/STEAM enrichment classes using Snapology's provided curriculum, LEGO® Bricks, robotics, and other interactive learning tools. No lesson planning required—we provide the curriculum, training, and materials you need to be successful.Inspire Young Builders: Create a positive, inclusive environment where children build confidence, creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills through hands-on learning.Facilitate Memorable Experiences: Lead after-school programs at the Snapology center and local schools, adapting your instruction to engage children ages 4–14 while ensuring every child feels included and encouraged.Represent Snapology: Build positive relationships with children, families, and school partners while maintaining a safe, organized, and welcoming learning environment.Prepare & Wrap Up: Set up program materials before classes and clean up afterward so each learning space is ready for the next group.Additional OpportunitiesAs your availability allows, you may also have opportunities to:Lead Saturday enrichment programsFacilitate birthday partiesTeach school field tripsWork camps during school breaksAssist with community events and special programsWhat We're Looking ForExperience working with children in a group or structured setting (teaching certification not required)Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication skillsAbility to confidently lead activities after completing trainingAvailability for four afternoons/evenings each weekReliable transportation to the Snapology center and local partner locationsAbility to lift and carry up to 20 poundsAbility to successfully complete federal, state, and child abuse background checksDependable, organized, and enthusiastic with a positive attitudePerks of the PositionConsistent part-time scheduleOpportunities to earn additional hours throughout the yearPaid training and ongoing coachingSupportive, fun, team-oriented work environmentSnapology shirt provided with casual dress (jeans or khakis)Valuable experience in education, child development, and youth programmingJoin Our Team!At Snapology, we believe kids who build things become adults who build things.
