What You'll Do

As a Sheet Metal Mechanic, you'll play a key role in installing and maintaining commercial and industrial HVAC and sheet metal systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate, install, and maintain sheet metal ductwork and related systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and project specifications
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal components for installation
• Install commercial and industrial HVAC duct systems according to plans and industry standards
• Coordinate with foremen, supervisors, and fellow tradespeople to maintain project schedules
• Ensure all work meets quality standards, building codes, and safety requirements
• Identify and resolve installation challenges in the field
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of sheet metal experience, preferably in commercial or industrial construction
• Ability to read and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Commitment to safety, quality, and professional workmanship

Preferred Qualifications

• Commercial HVAC duct installation experience
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
• Experience with fabrication and layout of sheet metal systems
• Knowledge of commercial construction and mechanical systems
