Maintenance Technician IIAs a Maintenance Technician II, you will be instrumental in supporting the Operations Maintenance team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems within the facility. Your role will involve installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment.ResponsibilitiesPromote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including belts, motors, photo-eyes, and relays.Maintain positive working relationships across all of the Operations facility.Track and store department inventory.Move up to 49lbs and stand or walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation.Essential SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent.2+ years of experience in the repair of industrial equipment.2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.1+ years of experience in reading blueprints.1+ year of knowledge in electrical and electronic principles preferred.Why Work Here?Join a team that values safety and collaboration in a dynamic work environment. Employees will need to wear masks, face shields, and composite toed boots. The position involves movement between departments and properties, with walking distances of 6 to 12 miles per day, and occasionally working in environments with fluctuating temperatures. You may also need to use a computer or stand-up desk for 1-2 hours per day.Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Papillion, NE.Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $32.50 - $32.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
