Cardiac Cath Lab - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 22 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Alaska license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Providence Health & Services and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Providence Health & Services.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Credentials: - Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

Special Requests: - RTO must be listed at time of submission. - Time off approved on an individual basis upon offer. Only 1 time off request per 13 week assignment.

Unit Details: - Adult and geriatric patient population. - Unit does about 40 pediatric cases per year. Anesthesia is used for these procedures.

Shift & Scheduling: - Call required: 1 day per week and 4th/5th weekend (Friday at 1800-Monday at 0730). - Weekend requirement: On call, and approximately 1 Saturday per month as part of the scheduled 4 shifts/week.

Floating Requirements: - May float to EP or IR Lab within department.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
