Job Type : Full Time Job Description Seeking an experienced Title & Escrow Officer/Settlement Agent to manage residential and commercial real estate transactions from opening through closing, funding, disbursement, and recording. This is more than a traditional processing role. The successful candidate will combine strong title and escrow expertise with exceptional relationship-building skills, serving as a trusted resource to real estate agents, lenders, buyers, sellers, and other transaction partners. Embedded within a real estate office environment, you will have direct access to producing agents and will be expected to develop relationships, deliver exceptional closings, and help generate repeat and referral business. What You’ll Do Manage a pipeline of residential and commercial title transactions from opening through funding and closing. Review and execute buyer, seller, lender, and transaction instructions. Order and review title commitments. Identify and coordinate the resolution of title defects, liens, judgments, and other title issues. Prepare title, escrow, settlement, and closing documents. Coordinate transaction requirements with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, attorneys, and other parties. Schedule and conduct real estate closings. Ensure funds and documents are received accurately and on schedule. Coordinate final disbursement and recording following closing. Maintain accurate escrow files and transaction documentation. Provide proactive status updates throughout the closing process. Resolve transaction issues while maintaining deadlines and a positive client experience. Serve as a knowledgeable title and closing resource for real estate agents and loan officers. Develop strong relationships with agents, lenders, and other referral partners. Conduct proactive outreach to real estate professionals to generate and retain business. Participate in agent meetings, trainings, events, and other business-development activities. Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and company title and escrow requirements. Utilize title software and technology to efficiently manage transactions and communications. Experience You’ll Need 3+ years of Title & Escrow Officer, Settlement Agent, or closely related closing experience. Strong knowledge of the complete real estate closing process. Experience managing title/escrow files from opening through funding, disbursement, and recording. Experience reviewing title commitments and resolving title issues. Experience preparing closing and settlement documentation. Ability to independently conduct closings. Strong understanding of residential real estate transactions. Commercial title/closing experience is a plus. Excellent client service and relationship-building abilities. Comfortable developing business relationships with Realtors and lenders. Strong organizational skills with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple transactions and deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume real estate environment. Experience with title/escrow software. Certified Notary Public required. Licensed Title Insurance Agent preferred or willingness to obtain applicable licensing within 90 days. #J-18808-Ljbffr
