Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• RRT or CRT role in Respiratory Therapy department
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend or as needed weekend hours required
• Call requirements as needed
• Float requirements as needed
• 1+ years of experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS
• Texas Respiratory Therapist certification/licensure required
• Serve patients of all ages
• Operate equipment including Servo I Ventilators, Carescape Ventilators, V60 BiPAPs, and standard nebulizers
• Perform ICU care, ventilator management, blood gases, arterial line draws, EKGs, basic respiratory care, trach patient care, weaning trials, and oxygen management
• Use Meditech electronic health record system
• Scrub color: Ceil Blue
• Casual wear is not acceptable attire

This 154-bed hospital serves both Northeast Texas and Southeast Oklahoma and is the most complex hospital within a 70-mile radius. The facility is a Level 3 Trauma Center and Level 1 NICU, and holds Joint Commission Accreditation as a Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI. It is also recognized as an Advanced Primary Stroke Care Center and ranks in the top 5% in the nation for orthopedic outcomes.
