Revenue Management Specialist

Job Title: Revenue Cycle / Revenue Management Specialist Location: 640 South State Street, Dover, DE 19901 Employment Type: Full-Time Immediate interviews available within 24-48 hours! Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle leader to oversee Epic Single Business Office (SBO) functions, managing Cash Application and Customer Service teams across all Bayhealth entities (Medical Center, employed physicians, Bayhealth Medical Group, Wellness Centers, and Occupational Health). Key Responsibilities: Supervise, train, and develop team members; conduct performance evaluations and rounding Oversee cash application, payment posting, reconciliation, and daily treasury functions Manage self-pay collections, bad debt, financial counseling, and vendor processes Resolve patient complaints and ensure compliant billing per state/federal laws Monitor credit balances, process refunds, and resolve unidentified payments Prepare performance reports and implement action plans to meet benchmarks Collaborate with internal departments on system changes and process improvements Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field (or HS + 8 yrs / Associate + 4 yrs progressive leadership experience) Experience: 5+ years in patient accounting, third-party reimbursement, or related field, including 3+ years in a supervisory/leadership role Preferred: 7+ years experience with 5+ years in leadership Systems: Epic experience required; familiarity with INFOR and treasury management preferred Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities #J-18808-Ljbffr Veridian Tech Solutions Inc
