Location: Chesapeake, VA | Hybrid (Remote/In-Person Options Available)
Job Type: Full-Time (Minimum 20 client hours per week)

Who We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking a passionate Child & Youth Therapist who enjoys working with children, teens, and families and wants to be part of a collaborative, innovative team.

What You’ll Do

As a therapist at Feeling Moody, you’ll provide outpatient mental health services to a diverse range of clients, including those navigating:

• Trauma
• Depression & anxiety
• Life transitions

You’ll also do:

• Offer therapy in-person, remotely, or in a hybrid setting
• Provide outpatient therapy to children and adolescents (ages 4–17)
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation (case notes, ISPs, discharge plans, etc.)
• Collaborate with a dynamic team of clinicians
• Attend team meetings and engage in continuous professional development
• Option to facilitate therapy groups (social skills, emotional regulation, etc.)

What We’re Looking For

• Fully licensed in Virginia: LPC, LCSW, or LMFT (Required)
• Must have minimum of 2 years licensed experience (Required)
• Comfortable with or open to EMDR (training opportunities available!)
• Passionate about serving culturally diverse populations
• Strong foundation in clinical theory and trauma-informed care
• Proficient with GSuite , Google Apps , and EMR systems
• Approachable, open-minded, and excited about innovation in mental health care
