Aerospace Painter - 2nd Shift

Job Description Job Description POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the department Supervisor/Manager, the Painter is responsible for coating surface parts, assembling and finishing products with protective or decorative materials such as paint, varnish, enamel, lacquer, dope or stain using spray gun. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Determines and selects correct mixes of coating material. • Applies paint to parts as directed by job orders. • Identifies and coats areas that are inaccessible to hand sprayer. • Identifies problems with equipment and will troubleshoot or repair paint guns. • Responsible for running ovens as needed. • Will complete visual inspection of masking on parts to ensure consistency as well as inspect for damaged product. • Completes necessary paperwork. • Works closely with the production team and assist as needed. • Adheres to safety regulations. • Performs other duties as assigned.
