Here, you will make an impact by:Driving strategy and portfolio direction for advanced semiconductor materialsLeading and aligning a global, cross‑functional team operating across multiple time zones including APAC, EMEA, and the AmericasConsulting with the leadership team to set and execute long‑term strategic direction and operating plans for complex markets and product lines. Developing business strategies and creating solutions for highly complex, multi‑faceted challenges.Providing marketing leadership across customer insights, economic analysis, market research, new product introductions, strategic planning, integrated communications, pricing, and CRM strategy and platform design.Ensuring the application of appropriate marketing principles and establishing standards and performance measures for assigned business areas or product lines.Planning, organizing, and directing all marketing activities and policies across multiple disciplines, including market research, channel/product marketing, digital, business/market development, branding, pricing, new product introduction, price maintenance, deviated pricing, bids and quotes, business agreements, merchandising, price optimization, analytics, accrual management, and rebates.Coaching and developing team members to optimize pricing, merchandising, processes, CRM utilization, sales processes, sales operations analytics, and customer insights.Leading strategic growth initiatives for assigned business areas.Serving at the Management Operations Committee or Leadership Team level for large, complex international subsidiaries.Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)Twelve (12) years of semiconductor/ or manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environmentFive (5) years of experience in a P&L leadership role managing teams of at least ten (10) members in a private, public, government or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:MBA and Master's degree in chemical engineering, material science or related discipline from an accredited institutionExperience leading a portfolio of products totaling over $200 MillionExperience setting strategy and vision for organizations of over 20 product managersExperience leading a global team spanning multiple time-zones, with an emphasis on APAC marketMore than Fifteen (15) years of semiconductor/ or manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment Strategic leadership with strong decision‑making capabilityExecutive‑level communication and stakeholder influenceCoaching, developing, and inspiring high‑performing teamsWork location: Work location: This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN.Travel: May include up to 20% domestic/internationalRelocation: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being 3M offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
