Charge Registered Nurse - Trauma Orthopedics

Role Overview Provides leadership and coordination on a nursing unit, ensuring quality patient care and alignment with clinical objectives. Key Responsibilities Assigns, educates, and monitors nursing/support staff during shifts; participates in performance evaluations. Assesses patient care needs, develops assignments, and collaborates with advanced practice providers to ensure positive outcomes. Evaluates care effectiveness, addresses patient care issues, and manages complaints through established channels. Contributes to hiring, training, and staff development; maintains safety and performs additional duties as needed. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensing. At least one year of registered nurse experience. Strong communication skills and ability to assess and respond to patient needs. Certifications & Licenses Valid RN license in applicable states (Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, Wisconsin) with BLS certification from AHA. Physical & Other Requirements Constant speech, standing, walking, and vision use; frequent lifting, reaching, and data entry. Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs occasionally and perform patient transfers. Occasional driving and physical movements like bending and stooping. #J-18808-Ljbffr Rock Health
