Warehouse AssociatePosition Summary: The Warehouse Associate is responsible for off-loading, put-away, picking and staging of equipment and parts while providing professional quality customer service to all internal and external customers. The warehouse associate is accountable for the movement of all materials within the warehouse and overall appearance while ensuring to meet all safety protocols.Position Responsibilities May Include:Safely and efficiently operate forklift and additional warehouse equipment to load/unload/transfer material and product without causing damage within the warehouse and to/from delivery trucksEnsure all items are received per procedure and stocked in assigned locationsMaintain inventory and prepare cycle countsComplete will callsResponsible for timely and accurate completion of paperwork and transaction entriesProper PPE and uniform must be worn at all times during each shiftMaintain warehouse and forklift by following good housekeeping and safety procedures including pre and post shift forklift inspectionsAlert manager of any concerns immediatelyAssist customers and CSRs as neededFollow standard operating procedures, established work processes and company policiesPerform additional tasks as requiredKnowledge & Skills:Effective verbal and written communication skillsHigh level of attention to detail and surroundingsBasic computer skills including data entry to process transactions and generate reports and ordersAbility to successfully process (ex. loading and unloading) productsAbility to operate a forklift safely and work in a fast-paced warehouseAbility to pass Prove It and driving testMust be eligible to be forklift certified in house within 30 daysBe dependable, work well in a team environment, and establish positive working relationships with employees and customersAbility to work in warehouse that is not climate controlledExperience:1 plus years of warehouse experience1 plus years industrial forklift experience strongly preferredHigh school diploma or GEDMust have valid driver's licensePeople Management:NoPhysical Requirements / Work Environment:Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations. The ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 40 lbs or lift lighter items repetitively or perform 2 man lifts for heavier items.
