SUMMARY :Assembly Associate p rovides support to keep assembly equipment and auto packersrunning and producing g ood quality parts in an effort to meet daily production goals. Thispositions l oads, unloads an d moves mate rial within the assembly department whilem aintain ing their area and equipment cleanliness.3rd Shift OpportunitySchedule: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AMCandidates must be available to work weekends. Other duties maybe assigned.• Be in assigned area at the start of your shift wearing all necessary personal protectiveequipment and ready to begin work.• Perform all tasks on the Assembly Associate Standard Worksheets within thetimeframes outlined and notate on the sheet when those tasks have been completed.• Unjam parts and recycle assembly machines and auto packers (robots) in the safestand most efficient manner possible in an effor t to keep reaction time in the green.• Read work order or follow oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to bemoved.• Load and unload materials by hand onto or from pallets, boxes, bins and shelves.• Open containers, f ill hoppers, bins, feeders and elevators as necessary.• Maintain acceptable visual quality level of all parts produced. Perform “5 on Top” visualquality inspections.• Sort, audit, and check parts for grease, damage, missing components, proper tubelength, etc.• Communicate any safet y, quality, or efficiency concerns related to the equipment orarea to your Team Leader.• Pack product as needed, w eigh - count boxed production as needed and check ordersfor completion.• Close, tape, and label boxes of finished product.• Maintain housekeeping, orderliness, and cleanliness of assigned area.• Work closely with other associates in a “team” environment and maintain professionalrelationships.• Responsible for performing work at or above standard rate.• Responsible for throwing scrap and trash in prop er containers.• Must follow al l work rules and policies.QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able toperform each essential duty satisfactorily.
