Job Requirements To be eligible to apply for ERCP privileges, the applicant must hold Core Gastroenterology privileges AND Clinical Experience (Initial): Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited program in Gastroenterology that included training in ERCP of a minimum 200 procedures; and evidence of clinical experience through documented performance of a minimum of 25 ERCP procedures (including at least 10 sphincterotomies and 5 stent placement procedures) during the past 12 months. Clinical Experience (Reappointment): Current demonstrated competence and experience, reflective of the scope of privileges requested, for the past 24 months based on results of ongoing professional practice evaluation and clinical outcomes Diagnostic Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) Therapeutic ERCP with Spyglass choledochoscopy Lithotripsy Papillectomy (ampullectomy) Sphincter of Oddi Dilation Spincterotomy Stone Removal Non-Core Privileges - Therapeutic Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)Cholangioscopy In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: Must have successfully completed a residency or fellowship commensurate with gastroenterology.
