Job Title: RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 18:30 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery License: Valid Nursing License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or Advanced, NRP Must-Have: Rural Community Client Experience Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse in the specialty of Labor and Delivery. The role involves providing care for patients during labor and post-delivery. Candidates must have experience in circulating or scrubbing in OR procedures. This unit comprises 6 labor, delivery, recovery rooms, 5 outpatient rooms, 2 operating rooms, and 1 recovery room. Patient ratios will align with AWHONN guidelines. Equipment used includes GE Centricity and Wireless Fetal Monitors. The electronic health record systems in place are Meditech and Centricity. Candidates should be prepared to work 2 weekends a month and may have call requirements. Experience in postpartum and mother-baby care is preferred. Ideal candidates will possess skills related to common diagnoses and treatments associated with labor and delivery.
