Online Program Math Intervention Specialist

About the Position Opportunity to teach mathematics at a non‑profit public charter school serving grades 7‑12 in Southern California. The role involves classroom and one‑on‑one instruction, data‑driven lesson planning, and student progress monitoring. Responsibilities Instruct students in Math within a classroom or 1:1 environment. Collaboratively plan with instructional staff to analyze data and implement intervention programs. Create reports and use data to plan lessons while monitoring the progress of students receiving intervention services, adjusting instruction and student grouping accordingly. Provide support for all levels of mathematics, including upper subject areas such as Statistics and Pre‑calculus. Maintain a tracking system indicating student appointment times, progress, and areas of improvement, and meet with students regularly to discuss development. Minimum Qualifications California 30‑Day Substitute Teaching Credential or preliminary or clear single‑subject credential. Knowledge of scientifically based mathematics instruction for middle and high school students. Knowledge of MS Office and/or Google Suite. Compensation and Benefits Pay Range: $29.71 – $35.43 per hour, depending on experience.
