ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER

Kneaders Bakery & Café – Provo Area

We are building a leadership bench - not hiring a backup plan.

This role is for someone who wants to master operations, build teams, and contribute to a high-performing store. Growth opportunities exist - but they are earned through performance, consistency, and trust.

Schedule Reality

Closed every Sunday
Closed Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day
The days leading up to major holidays are some of our highest-volume days and require full leadership presence
Weekend availability is required

What You'll Do

Help lead daily operations of a high-volume bakery café
Execute labor and food cost controls
Coach and develop shift leaders and team members
Protect food quality and guest experience standards
Maintain compliance and operational discipline
Step up when the GM is off-site

This role supports the General Manager and strengthens the store - not competes with it.

Experience Required

2+ years of restaurant or retail leadership
Experience managing labor or food cost
Comfortable giving feedback and holding standards
Weekend and peak-season availability
