Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30), every other weekend required.

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills and the ability to handle critical situations effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients in the emergency department, managing a typical patient ratio of 4:1.
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and guidelines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and maintain accurate patient records.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 3 years of registered nursing experience.
• Active, unrestricted Arizona RN License or valid, participating compact license required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS required; TNCC preferred.
• Experience in Level I trauma centers is required.
• Pediatric experience and basic pediatric skills are required.
