Schedule: Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36.00

Requirements:

• Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
• One year's catheterization experience: Preferred
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography (ARRT-R): Required
• Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required
• Current Fluoroscopy license: Required in CA within 6 months of hire
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per policy: Required
• At least two years recent experience in the field: Required
• Current nursing license per the state of assignment: Required
• EPIC experience: Required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians with procedures involving cardiovascular and pulmonary diagnostic tests.
• Operate special procedure equipment and select and modify technical factors as needed.
• Monitor, record, and evaluate patient vital signs throughout the procedures.
• Ensure patient protection in accordance with prescribed radiation safety standards through appropriate techniques.
• Maintain proper sterile techniques, including aseptic techniques and infection control procedures.
• Troubleshoot and maintain equipment related to cardiac catheterization.
