Job Overview
- Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival
- Manage waitlist and accurately quote wait times
- Escort guests to tables and provide menus
- Maintain an organized and efficient seating chart
- Communicate with servers and management to ensure smooth table flow
- Answer phone calls, take reservations, and provide basic restaurant information
- Monitor dining room and lobby cleanliness at all times
- Assist with resetting and preparing tables when needed
- Handle guest concerns professionally and notify management when necessary
- Maintain knowledge of menu, specials, and restaurant policies
- Enforce restaurant policies (wait times, seating limits, etc.) in a polite manner
- Support front-of-house team to ensure excellent guest experience
