The CQO will be responsible for ensuring that the quality oversight and improvement processes are systematic, reliable, and evidence-based across all care settings. This leadership role is pivotal in aligning the quality infrastructure with the clinical services operating system and identifying opportunities to expand and optimize its impact. The successful candidate will directly oversee the surgical quality officer and medical directors for quality, establishing strong physician leadership and accountability for quality at all levels. Collaboration with patient safety, accreditation, regulatory, analytics, and operational excellence leaders is essential to maintain an integrated and effective Quality Management System. Candidates for the CQO position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' progressive leadership experience in healthcare quality, safety, and clinical performance. A background as a physician or advanced practice provider is required, along with a master's degree in a related field and a preference for quality certification or improvement. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading quality assurance and management systems, as well as experience in leading quality leaders and improving publicly reported quality outcomes.
