Manufacturing company located in Alachua, FL has an immediate opening for a facilities maintenance technician to support their facilities management team.
This position is responsible for the general maintenance of the physical building as well as the machinery/equipment. Job Duties:

Manufacturing company located in Alachua, FL has an immediate opening for a facilities maintenance technician to support their facilities management team.
This position is responsible for the general maintenance of the physical building as well as the machinery/equipment. Job Duties:
- Conduct and document daily, weekly, monthly, and annual preventative maintenance duties.
- Complete work orders on manufacturing and support equipment and fixtures in accordance with best practices.
- Order and maintain inventory of component and spare replacement parts to ensure minimal equipment downtime.
- Troubleshoot and repair basic equipment failures.
- Assist in performing calibrations to production equipment.
- HS Diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of facility maintenance experience including basic skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC.
- Stable work history
- Physically capable of lifting and walking with up to 50 pounds. Capable of standing for up to 10 hours per day. Capable of working in a non-climate controlled environment.
- Valid driver's license with responsible driving record
- Basic knowledge of computers and software
- Submit to background and drug screening
