Associate Attorney Hybrid Our client is seeking a North Carolina-licensed Attorney for an in-house position with a growing organization. This role is ideal for an attorney with litigation experience who can independently manage legal matters while partnering closely with company leadership. Responsibilities - Handle creditor and collection-related litigation in North Carolina. - Represent the organization in court proceedings. - Draft pleadings and manage matters through resolution. - Negotiate with opposing counsel and outside parties. - Advise leadership on legal exposure and regulatory issues. - Support matters involving lending and consumer finance. - Monitor relevant regulatory and legislative developments. Qualifications - Active North Carolina Bar license required. - Background in creditor’s rights, collections, financial services, or related litigation. - Strong litigation, negotiation, and legal writing skills. - Comfortable managing matters independently. - Financial or lending regulatory knowledge is a plus.
