MWHC - Medical Courier

Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and reliable Medical Courier to join our dynamic team. As a Dedicated Driver, you will be the face of Airspace on the ground positioned to execute time-critical deliveries of laboratory reports and specimens, pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, small equipment, and other items. Duties: * Pick up, transport, and deliver specimens, supplies, reports, interoffice mail, and other items on both scheduled routes and an on-call basis * Follow defined courier routes and complete all stops without missed pick-ups * Inspect specimens for proper packaging, handling requirements, and labeling prior to transport * Adhere to all biohazard specimen transport requirements in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and CAP * Represent Airspace professionally with hospitals and healthcare staff Requirements: * A reliable and well-maintained SUV, mini van, or sedan (year 2015 or newer) * Preferably local to the Fredericksburg area * Valid driver's license, insurance, and vehicle registration * At least 1 year of experience in medical courier services, ideally with exposure to specimens and medical supplies * Ability to lift up to 50 lb * Tech-savvy with a smartphone and reliable internet * Strong communication and reliability are essential
