Outpatient Pharmacist

Join an outpatient pharmacy team connected to a leading children's hospital and make a direct impact on patient care. We are seeking a Retail Pharmacist with strong customer service skills and retail pharmacy experience to support prescription processing, patient counseling, and daily pharmacy operations in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Assignment Details- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract Length: 13+ weeks
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Day shifts only
- Full-time hours
- Verify, fill, and check prescription orders accurately
- Counsel patients and caregivers on medication usage, side effects, and adherence
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians during daily workflow
- Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
- Collaborate with healthcare providers regarding medication-related questions
- Maintain accurate patient and medication records
- Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and families
- Retail pharmacy experience required
- Experience in a high-volume outpatient or community pharmacy setting preferred
- Strong attention to detail and medication safety practices
- Excellent communication and patient counseling skills
- PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program
- Active Missouri Pharmacist license required
- Full-time availability throughout the assignment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Commitment to patient-focused care and service excellence
