Physical Therapist - Outpatient Orthopedics

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and a passion for helping individuals regain mobility and improve their quality of life. This role involves working in various settings, including outpatient clinics, acute care facilities, and home health environments. The Physical Therapist will be responsible for developing and implementing personalized treatment plans based on thorough assessments of patients' needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that address specific patient goals and conditions.

• Implement therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to trigger point therapy, orthopedic rehabilitation, and acute care management.

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment options, exercises, and self-care techniques.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care effectively.

• Engage in discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition for patients post-treatment.

• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment plans in compliance with clinic systems.

• Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

• Valid state license to practice physical therapy.

• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to physical therapy practices.

• Experience in outpatient settings, home health, or acute care preferred but not required.

• Familiarity with orthopedic conditions and rehabilitation techniques is advantageous.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
