2nd Shift Manufacturing Technician

The Manufacturing Technician II is responsible for performing a range of advanced technical tasks related to the fabrication and assembly of aerospace structures. This mid-level role involves hands-on mechanical work, following detailed work instructions and technical drawings to ensure precision and quality.

• Perform technical mechanical work using standard hand tools and inspection equipment.
• Operate equipment for sheet metal fabrication and structural assembly, including debur, hot form, water jets, and small CNC assembly.
• Assemble aircraft and aerospace components for large assembly in a manufacturing facility.
• Deburring, routing, polishing, shear & saw operation.
• Press forming, draw forming, brake forming, stretch forming, roll forming, hot forming.
• Check and straighten, heat treating, aircraft, aviation, airframe, structure, aircraft mechanical.
• Cross-train in assembly and machining to support workforce flexibility.
• Follow detailed work instructions, process sheets, and blueprints.
• Handle delicate aerospace components with care and precision.
• Conduct basic visual and dimensional inspections.
• Accurately complete documentation such as routers and inspection logs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols.

• Proficiency in assembly, production, and mechanical assembly processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools.
• Mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Aircraft assembly experience.

• Experience with deburring, routing, polishing, shear & saw operation.
• Experience with press forming, draw forming, brake forming, stretch forming, roll forming, and hot forming.
• Experience in check and straighten, heat treating, aircraft, aviation, airframe, structure, and aircraft mechanical.

The work environment includes a 3-day shift from Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm, and a 3-night shift from Monday to Friday, 3pm to 11pm. Technologies and equipment used include sheet metal fabrication, structural assembly equipment, deburring, routing, polishing, shear & saw operation, press forming, draw forming, brake forming, stretch forming, roll forming, hot forming, check & straighten, heat treating. Employees must adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
