Network Engineer

Kforce has a client has an immediate need for a Network Engineer for a long-term contract position in the Albany - Rensselaer, NY area 5 days a week onsite. that has quantifiable experience ISA-95 Framework and segmentation with STRONG Palo ALto Firewall experience including Policies and procedures. Summary: We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support a high-visibility Operational Technology (OT) Segmentation Project within a complex manufacturing environment. This role will focus on enhancing network security, segmentation, and firewall policy management while partnering with enterprise and site IT teams. Duties Include:

• Lead OT network segmentation initiatives in a regulated manufacturing environment
• Design, implement, and support secure network infrastructure, including routing, switching, wireless, and firewall technologies
• Develop and manage Palo Alto firewall security policies
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and project teams to deliver scalable, secure network solutions
• Maintain network documentation and support compliance requirements
• must have extensive experience with manufacturing Networks connected to Siemens, Allen-Bradley or Rockwell and PLC's, Programmable Logic controllers

• Strong expertise in OT network segmentation, Palo Alto firewalls, and network security
• Experience with the Purdue Model ISA-95 framework
• Hands-on knowledge of routing, switching, SD-WAN, Cisco technologies, and network security solutions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience supporting manufacturing, laboratory, or industrial environments required
