About the Role

Personal Home Care of Atlanta is seeking a compassionate, reliable caregiver to provide overnight support for a 5½-year-old client in Newnan, GA. Our client is autistic and has multiple medical needs, requiring a caregiver who is patient, attentive, and comfortable providing hands-on nursing-related support in a home setting.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who wants to make a meaningful difference in a child's life and support a family with specialized care needs.

Responsibilities

Provide overnight care and supervision 3-4 nights/week with additional shifts as needed during medical flare-ups
Assist with medical needs and nursing-related tasks as directed by the family's care plan
Monitor client's health and comfort throughout the shift, responding appropriately to changes in condition
Support daily routines in a way that is sensitive to the client's autism (e.g., consistency, sensory needs, calm communication)
Administer medications or treatments as trained and authorized
Maintain clear communication with family and care team regarding any changes in condition
Keep accurate care notes/documentation as required

Qualifications

Prior experience with pediatric care, special needs care, and/or nursing support strongly preferred
Experience working with autistic children or individuals with sensory/behavioral needs a plus
Comfortable with medical care tasks (training/certification requirements to be confirmed based on care level needed — e.g., CNA, HHA, or similar)
Reliable, punctual, and able to work overnight shifts
Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with family members
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Must pass background check and any required health screenings

What We Offer

Competitive pay: $15-$17/hour (based on experience) + $3 differential for late/overnight shifts.
