Senior Private Events Manager

The Fifth Avenue is seeking a Senior Private Event Manager to join our hospitality family under Director of Events Marie Lyons.

Ideal candidates possess:
*4 years of experience in NYC restaurant or hotel events with an emphasis on sales.
*Management and leadership experience within a team.
*Positive attitude and strong work ethic with the mentality of a team player.
*Familiarity with budgets and sales strategy to meet them.
*Comfort in a fast-paced, busy environment.
*Excellent customer service skills, written and verbal skills.
*Flexible availability on nights and weekends.
*Proficiency in Word, Excel, basic accounting and database maintenance. Knowledge of Tripleseat is a plus.
