Chaplain

To support the spiritual needs of patients and staff, the part-time Per Diem Chaplain will provide on-call coverage primarily on weeknights and may also cover weekends and holidays, addressing spiritual, religious, and emotional needs while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams at various Manhattan hospitals. Key responsibilities Demonstrate mastery in chaplaincy knowledge and skills Foster effective communication with diverse patients, family members, and staff Conduct visits across designated hospital floors and ambulatory settings to assess and address spiritual and religious needs Required qualifications Master's degree preferred Successful completion of at least one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education in an accredited program Experience as a spiritual care provider in a healthcare setting
