About the Role
The Company is seeking a Regional Vice President, Commercial to lead a team of Regional Directors and drive revenue growth in the United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for the region's success, reputation, and culture, and must be experienced in cross-functional engagement, particularly in partnering with GTM, G&A, and R&D leaders. This senior leadership role requires a strategic thinker with a natural interest in ensuring the alignment of the region's success with North America and company goals. The RVP will be instrumental in articulating the value of the company's solutions and building strong relationships with prospects. The role demands a leader with a growth mindset, a proven track record in SaaS sales, and the ability to operate in an entrepreneurial, remote environment. Key responsibilities for the Regional Vice President, Commercial include managing a team of 5 Regional Directors, fostering a culture of teamwork, transparency, and continuous improvement, and being actively involved in the hiring, retaining, and development of top talent. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' experience in second or third-line SaaS sales leadership, a history of exceeding quotas in a technical client acquisition-driven business, and a background in leading product-led sales teams. The role is critical for the company and requires a leader who can ensure exceptional results, is adept at deal creation and closure, and is committed to the values of the organization, including open-source roots and a global, collaborative culture.
