We’re looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Optician to join our new and growing practice full-time.

What You’ll Do

As an Optician, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring patients receive the best possible vision solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting patients in selecting eyewear that meets their vision needs and style preferences.

• Verifying and explaining vision insurance benefits clearly and accurately.

• Dispensing and adjusting glasses to ensure comfort and optimal fit.

• Maintaining and organizing optical displays and equipment.

• Managing vision insurance billing for glasses.

• Notifying patients when their glasses are ready for pickup.

• Educating patients on proper care for their glasses.

• Supporting front desk operations, including patient check-in/check-out, record management, payment collection, and other administrative tasks as needed.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to create a welcoming and positive experience for patients.

• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in every task.

• Confidentiality skills to protect patient information.

• Proficiency with basic computer skills, including patient management systems.

• A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

• Prior experience in optometry, optical, or a medical office is a plus, but not required. We will provide training.
