Experience: Minimum 3 years of healthcare experience required.
License: Bachelor's degree with Commission on Dietetic Registration if registered before December 31, 2023, OR Master's degree with Commission on Dietetic Registration if registered after December 31, 2023.


Certifications: BLS, RD/RDN, CDE or CDCES preferred.


Must-Have: Experience in Behavioral Health/Treatment Centers.


Description:
The dietitian will work with adult inpatient mental health and detox units as well as acute adolescent mental health units.
The dietitian will be responsible for general nutrition screening and assessment.
The dietitian will provide group education and food service support as needed.
Healthy living and lifestyle groups will be taught weekly on each unit.
Knowledge of patient diagnoses includes general nutrition, addictions/detox, and mental health.
A supervisory reference is required for submission.
For this position, candidates must have EPIC charting experience.
Candidates will need to have a minimum of one year of healthcare experience preferred.
Experience in providing dietary services in a mental health setting is preferred.
