Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Maintenance Assistant to join our family! As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations.

Major Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily maintenance services with nursing services when performing routine assignments in resident living areas
• Assist with all repairs, preventative maintenance, refurbishing projects, and furniture/equipment moving
• Maintain the facility ground
• Ensure that the facility and its equipment are properly maintained for resident comfort and convenience
• Assist with safety inspections, tests, and drills, as requested
• Provide innovative, responsible healthcare with the creation and implementation of new ideas and concepts that continually improve systems and processes to achieve superior results

Qualifications:

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent
• Two (2) years' experience as a handy man in a healthcare environment is preferred.
• Must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done
