Job DescriptionFleet Deckhand I - Westwego, LAPay: $235/per daySchedule: 12-hour rotating shift (days and nights). You will work 5 days on day shift, 5 days on night shift and 5 days off. This includes weekends, holidays, and overtime may be available dependent on business need. (Shifts are 4am-4pm and 4pm-4am or 5am-5pm and 5pm-5am). Subject to change.What You'll DoBuild tow and handle rigging during operationsPrepare barges for customer delivery (securing lines/covers, inspections)Support maintenance, cleaning, and barge prep crewsPerform general housekeeping: washing, scraping, painting, sweepingFollow all safety rules and report hazards or incidentsHelp complete vessel and safety documentationWork as part of a small crew to keep fleet operations moving safelyWhat We’re Looking ForMarine or deckhand experience preferred (not required). Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
