This position will be based at our project site in Orlando, Florida.Primary ResponsibilitiesConduct and document observations of construction as it progresses for civil projects related to civil infrastructure, such as roads, bridges, and stormwater systems.Monitor, record and inspect progress on construction projectsConduct or coordinate field materials sampling and testing, including concrete slump and air testing, casting concrete test cylinders, and performing in-place soil compaction testingPerform other duties as neededPreferred QualificationsTechnical school or Associate degreeSome demonstrated experience in construction inspectionAbility to interpret construction schedulesLocal candidatesRequired QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalentExperience in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Strong written communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustHDR's Drug and Alcohol Policy supports our commitment to employee safety and exceeding client requirements.
