Process Engineer

The RoleThis is a hands-on manufacturing floor role responsible for improving process performance, product quality, efficiency, and cost. You’ll work directly with Operations and Maintenance to troubleshoot problems, identify root causes, and implement sustainable improvements.What You’ll DoAnalyze process data and identify opportunities for improvementTroubleshoot manufacturing issues and drive problems through resolutionLead root cause analysis, Lean, 5-Why, RCCA, Six Sigma and DOE initiativesImprove process efficiency, quality, throughput, and costDevelop and improve SOPs, controls, and standard workPartner with Electrical/Controls Engineering on process control improvementsInvestigate quality issues, customer complaints, and process deviationsSupport capital projects and process optimizationTrain Operations and Maintenance teams on processes and improvementsWork cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and technical specialistsWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related technical field3+ years of industrial continuous-process manufacturing experienceStrong hands-on manufacturing floor troubleshooting experienceProven ability to identify and implement process improvementsExperience using Lean and root cause analysis tools in real-world manufacturingStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProject management experience; capital project experience is a plusAbility to manage multiple priorities and work independentlyStrong communication and collaboration skillsWillingness to respond to manufacturing issues when needed, including occasional off-hours situations
