Registered Nurse (RN) - MS/Tele

This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry care on a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) unit. The role involves providing high-quality patient care during the night shift and supporting patients with complex medical needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with a variety of medical conditions.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings to assist in managing patient care.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Manage medication administration and perform necessary medical procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing required.
• Previous experience in a Long-Term Acute Care setting is preferred.
• Neuroscience experience is essential for this position.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale are required.

The position offers flexible scheduling options of 36 or 48 hours per week, with a typical schedule of four 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Weekend support will be provided through a rotating call schedule among staff members.

This role is available for a contract period of 13 to 26 weeks.
