Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their needs. \n
- Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that address their issues, objectives, and preferences, using evidence-based practices. \n
- Implement therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), utilizing these techniques to support clients effectively. \n
- Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies to promote better health and well-being. \n
- Regularly monitor and track client progress, adjusting treatment plans based on feedback and developments, to optimize therapeutic outcomes. \n
- Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to facilitate integrated care for clients with complex needs. \n
- Stay informed about the latest research and developments in mood disorders to continually refine and improve treatment strategies provided. \n
This position focuses on serving a diverse clientele, including individuals and families experiencing a range of mood disorders and relational challenges. - A valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory. \n
