Shifts: On an as-needed basis with 2 weekend scheduled shifts per month (4 week rotation), 3-4 on-call evenings a week


Seven Healthcare are seeking a Licensed Pharmacist for a Contract to Hire position in Hudson, WI. This role requires proficiency in delivering pharmacy services, particularly in non-sterile compounding and managing on-call/overnight duties. The work environment will involve both scheduled and on-call responsibilities, allowing for a variety of professional experiences.

Key Responsibilities of the Licensed Pharmacist

• Accept and dispense prescription medications.
• Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns.
• Ensure the supply of medicines is within the law.
• Confirm medicines prescribed are suitable for patients.
• Accurately maintain confidential patient records.
• Advise patients on medication usage and answer queries.
• Provide consultations on medications, storage, dosage, and interactions.
• Offer patient services like smoking cessation and blood pressure checks.
• Educate on medical device handling.
• Compound medications for different uses.
• Prepare sterile solutions per procedures.
• Supervise pharmacy staff members.
• Maintain inventory of supplies.
• Identify drug-related problems and communicate with healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with healthcare practitioners.

Requirements of the Licensed Pharmacist

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree required.
• Licensed by the state pharmacy board.
• Experience in non-sterile compounding preferred.
• Experience with on-call/overnight shifts.
