Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A pharmacy is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join their team on a per diem basis. The role centers on providing excellent pharmacy services within a retail setting, ensuring patient safety, and supporting the pharmacy team with accurate dispensing and counseling.

Location: Torrance, CA
Job Type: Per Diem
First Day: August 25, 2026 (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM)

Responsibilities:

• Accurately check and verify prescriptions prepared by pharmacy technicians
• Provide patient counseling on medication use and safety
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacy staff to maintain excellent workflow
• Maintain accurate and complete records for all prescriptions filled

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Valid and active California Pharmacist License required
• Minimum of 1 year recent retail pharmacy experience
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, medication safety, and patient counseling practices
• Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail
• Good communication skills and professional demeanor

Schedule / Hours:

• Per diem with initial shift on 8/25/26 from 9 AM to 5:30 PM
• Flexible shifts depending on pharmacy needs
