Additionally, this role will be responsible for performing assembly and/or testing of electro optical and infrared products.Essential Functions:Perform incoming functional test procedures.Troubleshoot and repair systems by replacing faulty components/assemblies.Install software and firmware in accordance with instructions.Per procedure guidelines, perform post-maintenance on tests.Prepare required service documentation in a timely fashion.Attend off site training courses and self-study as required to maintain competency and compliance with serviced units, company policies, and procedures.Interface with internal and external customers.Provide regular status reports on work in progress.Uphold safety requirements by wearing PPE and properly using work equipment in designated areas.Work against contractual deadlines to meet customer delivery dates.Access and utilize web based technical publications.Follow ESD, FOD and Lasers procedures.Follow industry standard or practice for 6S.Ability to obtain a US security clearance.Qualifications:Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.L3Harris Technologies is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
