Phlebotomist

The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment and a passion for delivering excellent service. Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection procedures accurately and efficiently. Verify patient identity and ensure proper specimen labeling and documentation. Process, prepare, and transport laboratory specimens according to established protocols. Maintain patient comfort and provide excellent customer service during specimen collection. Follow infection control, safety, and quality assurance procedures. Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, ensuring cleanliness and proper inventory levels. Record patient information and collection details accurately within the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Assist with point-of-care testing and other laboratory-related duties as assigned. Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to support quality patient care. Phlebotomist Job Qualifications: At least 1 year of experience as a Phlebotomist in a clinical, laboratory, or healthcare setting. Phlebotomy certification required (CPT, PBT, or equivalent preferred). At least 1 year of EMR experience; eClinicalWorks preferred. Strong knowledge of specimen collection, handling, and processing procedures. High level of professionalism and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong customer service and patient care skills. Must have a High School diploma or GED equivalent. Why join our team?
