Job Description
Psychiatric Registered Nurse (Psych RN) Job Overview Seeking an experienced Psychiatric Registered Nurse to join an inpatient behavioral crisis stabilization unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in psychiatric nursing and have the skills necessary to provide high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive psychiatric nursing care to patients aged 18 to 60+
- Work effectively within a team to manage patient ratios of 1:7 to 8
- Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management
- Participate in the development and implementation of treatment plans
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care as needed
- Minimum 2 years of experience in psychiatric nursing required; a maximum of 3 years of psychiatric experience may be considered for first-time travelers
- Active Registered Nurse license in Montana or compact license is required
- Current BLS certification is mandatory
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification must be active and submitted
- All requests for time off (RTO) or schedule modifications must be included at the time of submission, as adjustments will not be accommodated post-submission.
- Candidates must adhere to the 200-mile radius rule regarding travel.
