This role involves leading quality initiatives, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a culture of excellence within the team.Job ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and develop a team of Project Engineers by providing coaching, regular feedback, performance evaluations, and career development support.Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes, procedures, and standards in alignment with company policies, customer requirements, and applicable industry standards.Oversee the execution of Quality Notification (QN) activities, including tracking, monitoring, reporting, and timely resolution across multiple projects and deliverables.Analyze quality data and performance metrics to identify trends, determine root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, customers, and other stakeholders to integrate quality practices throughout the project lifecycle.Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence tools to improve quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.Develop and deliver training on quality processes, project best practices, tools, and methodologies to team members and other stakeholders.Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding quality and project-related concerns, ensuring timely communication and effective resolution.Prepare and present regular performance and quality metrics to management, highlighting key achievements, risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.Utilize ACE practices to improve quality metrics, enhance team proficiency and skill matrices, increase operational efficiency, and achieve cost savings.Support resource planning, workload balancing, and coordination of team activities to meet project schedules and customer commitments.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Duties may be modified or expanded based on business needs, project requirements, operational priorities, and customer expectations.Job QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. A Master's degree is preferred.Four (4) or more years of experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, or Project Management, including at least two (2) years in a leadership or supervisory role.
