Custodial Technician

Rodeo Cannabis Co. is recruiting a Custodial Technician for our Sterling, CT facility. This is a part‑time role (32 hours per week) available on multiple shifts. Areas of Focus Facility cleaning – maintain production floors, offices, break rooms and common areas. Sanitization – disinfect high‑touch surfaces, equipment exteriors and shared work areas. Restroom care – clean, stock and maintain restrooms to hygienic standards. Floors & surfaces – sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors, windows and glass surfaces. Waste & recycling – collect, dispose and route per facility protocols. Compliance & SOPs – follow all sanitation SOPs and Connecticut cannabis facility cleanliness standards. Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness throughout production areas, offices, break rooms, hallways and common spaces. Sweep, mop, vacuum and care for all flooring surfaces. Clean, disinfect and restock restrooms on a regular shift basis. Disinfect high‑touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches and shared equipment. Clean windows, glass partitions and other interior surfaces. Collect, sort and dispose of trash and recyclables according to protocols. Maintain custodial supplies and equipment; report low stock or equipment issues promptly. Follow cleaning SOPs and state cannabis facility cleanliness and compliance standards. Identify and report any facility maintenance needs, safety hazards or spills immediately. Support the broader team by maintaining a safe, organized and welcoming work environment. Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during a full shift. Capable of repetitive bending, reaching, kneeling and other physical tasks. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs as needed. Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, organized spaces. Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and following safety data sheet guidelines. Ability to follow standard operating procedures in a regulated facility. Dependable, punctual and a team‑oriented work ethic. Must be 18 years of age or older, in compliance with Connecticut cannabis regulations. Preferred Qualifications Prior custodial, janitorial or facility maintenance experience. Experience cleaning in a commercial, industrial, healthcare or regulated manufacturing setting. Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment (auto‑scrubbers, buffers, etc.). Knowledge of OSHA, SDS or general workplace safety standards.
